The United Kingdom joins the European Migration Network

On 19 June 2026, the European Commission and United Kingdom signed an Administrative Arrangement officialising their cooperation within the framework of the European Migration Network (EMN), as the United Kingdom becomes one of the network’s Observer Countries.

Both sides agreed to exchange up-to-date, objective, reliable and comparable information on asylum and migration in the United Kingdom, EMN Member (EU Member States except Denmark) and Observer Countries (Norway, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine, Montenegro, Armenia, Serbia, the Republic of North Macedonia and Albania).
